Welcome to our new on-line website. Please browse through our site to see all of the opportunities that we can offer you. We have many community enrichment courses as well as computer courses and healthcare trainings. We also offer GED prep and testing, family literacy, college transitions, high school diploma program, career counseling, Southern Maine Community College courses, and Ed2go on line courses. Child care is offered for any Learning Center student.
We have community organization services which include: PROP - Early Head Start, WIC Nutrition Program, Youth Alternatives/Ingraham and Child Development Services.
It is the policy of M.S.A.D. #61 and #72 that there be NO SMOKING in our buildings and/or on the buildings' property. This includes smoking in personal vehicles parked on school property. We have limited parking available for the number of people using our buildings. We have parking maps posted on the front of the Crooked River building and copies are available in the main office. Report ALL injuries (staff or student) to the main office.
Our main office hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. We are closed Fridays, holidays and school vacations.
Call M.S.A.D. #61 or M.S.A.D. #72 Superintendent's office at 647-3048 or 935-2600 to find out if there will be no classes for The Learning Center, SMCC or Community Education due to inclement weather. Also, if regular school has been canceled due to inclement weather our office will be closed as well. If there is an early dismissal it will be posted on channels 13, 6 and 8.

Search for courses: You can now search for courses from our program as well as from other adult education programs across the state. You can also browse our courses by category if you prefer.
Register online: You no longer need to come into our office or mail us your registration for some courses. When you see the "Add to Cart" button on any course, that means you can register and pay for the course online in a few easy steps. Of course, you can also walk-in or mail in your registration if you prefer. We do accept Visa, Mastercard or American Express via Pay Pal service for registering for classes.

Our website is a part of the new Maine Adult Education Portal, sponsored and managed by the Maine Adult Education Association. When you visit the new MAEA website online at http://www.maineadulted.org, you can search for courses and programs statewide to find the perfect class closest to where you work or live.
